This under-appreciated song has always been one of my favorites. One of the best performances, I think, occurred on 6/6/70. Anybody have favorite versions of this song, or more info on its position in the Dead's repertoire over the years?

Love this song, especially those full stops the band does during the "Well you lied" Bam "Cheated" Bam Bam "Who-oh for so long".

This is a rare version with Jerry and Pig doing a duet on the vocals.

Great Pig tune, complete with the nice harp break.

Interesting that after several performances during 1966, the song gets played only once in '67, and completely neglected during '68.

It's very well played during 1971. Particularly 7/2/71 and 12/5/71...

They slow it down quite a bit during the Europe '72 tour. The 4/29/72 performance gets stretched out somewhat as well as 5/11/72 and a couple of the Lyceum performances.
